Seray has directed the majority of her time as a Senior Data Analyst at the Medical University of South Carolina, toward building and developing Population Health Data Infrastructure for both the MUSC Health Plan and the ACO. Although a Chemist by degree, she transitioned into the world of Population Health Analytics after 20 plus years as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist and a veterinary, environmental and clinical microbiologist/molecular microbiologist. Seray’s engagement as a Health Data Analyst at Johns Hopkins Healthcare – R&D, sparked her passion to support Population Health Analytics at MUSC where she currently enjoys the flexibility of operating as part database developer, part researcher, part biostatistician, part applications developer and part analyst. Seray functions as a member of a small, remote team whose efforts are directed at developing tools and data products to meet the diverse needs of the business.
