The Adjusted Clinical Group (ACG) Reporting Framework is designed to be helpful in describing the methodological decisions made in preparing an ACG based report. The Reporting Framework serves as a communication tool to allow users and recipients to appropriately interpret the results of analyses. It is recommended that the long version of the Reporting Framework (Appendix A) be completed as an internal document, on a project basis, by organizations using ACGs and that the abbreviated document (Appendix B) accompany each ACG based report. The full document should be made available to recipients of the reports upon request. This document was prepared by the ACG Reporting Framework Committee under the auspices of the Minnesota ACG User Group Steering Committee. It was reviewed and approved for use by the Steering Committee on January 19, 1999.
