Jonathan P. Weiner, DrPH, is a professor of health policy and management and health informatics at the Johns Hopkins University. He is the founding director of the Johns Hopkins Center for Population Health Information Technology (CPHIT or “see-fit”) at the Bloomberg School of Public Health. (www.jhsph.edu/cphit). Dr. Weiner is an internationally regarded and extensively published, researcher, consultant and lecturer. His current work focuses on the integration and application of “big data” from the medical, insurance, public health and social service sectors for population and community based analytics and interventions. He is the co-developer and scientific director of the widely used Johns Hopkins ACG predictive modeling / risk adjustment system. (www.hopkinsacg.org).
