Dr. Stephen Sutch has a special interest in Patient Classification and Population Health analytics. He began working in the English NHS in 1987 in London as an Operational Research consultant. In 1991 in NHS Wales he managed the investigation of casemix and moved in 1994 to the national casemix office in England, managing the Statistics department, and from 2004 to 2006 was responsible for the design of casemix groupings for hospital reimbursement. In 2006 he set up an international consultancy specialising in casemix and health classification. Working in the USA from 2009-2016, Steve is now living in The Netherlands, with research interests in Care Management in Primary Care and the measurement of multimorbidity. Continuing work with the team at Johns Hopkins University (USA) on the Adjusted Clinical Groups (ACG) System, he has managed projects in a number of countries and is currently the Director of Product Development.
